Tradjazzers are a group of friendly amateur musicians who meet every Wednesday evening In Richmond, Melbourne to play trad ('traditional', or 'New Orleans') style jazz.
We are a practice group, not a band - and because we are of mixed abilities, our musical output naturally reflects this! Our main goal is to have fun playing (mostly) trad jazz, and in this we do enjoy remarkable success. Past members of Tradjazzers have gone on to join or form ensembles such as the Bluetone Jazz Band, the Dirty Dozen Jazz Band, The Peppercorn Jazz Band and The Slipdixies.

From time to time, we look to recruit new members, either as regular players (who can attend weekly) or as backup musicians (available to fill casual vacancies). For information about current vacancies, look here. If you are interested to learn more, please contact us.
